Feel good Food2Soil

I have been using these products for the last 2 years and they are every bit as good as they say. Stronger healthier plants that stood up to last winter. Keen to see how it works with my new bulbs this year too!
I missed the Autumn application this year, which is a shame as the frosts have been harsher. Also noticed more pests as I hadn't reapplied! Thoroughly recommend applying each season at least. It will save you money ultimately.

Applied this to my entire garden on a cooler day than usual, and two days later against a heatwave, call me crazy but I can actually see it working? All of my new plants in the ground seem to be holding up well during 40-degree temperatures, and my buffalo turf has never looked more lush. This might be the holy grail of liquid fertilisers!

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes this seaweed fertiliser different from regular liquid seaweed fertiliser?

This All-Purpose Biofertiliser with Added Seaweed fertiliser is a game-changer because it’s alive with billions of beneficial microorganisms — not just a standard liquid seaweed extract you’d pick up at a garden centre or Bunnings. Enriched with a premium blend of three powerful kelp species — Laminaria, Sargassum, and Ascophyllum nodosum — this fertiliser combines the best of natural ocean nutrition and microbial power. While many common seaweed fertilisers rely only on kelp-derived nutrients, this product adds a rich layer of microbial inoculants that work in the rhizosphere to transform soil fertility. Together, they deliver faster, stronger improvements in plant growth, nutrient availability, soil health, and resilience to drought, pests, and diseases. By enhancing the natural nutrient cycle and supporting soil life, this biofertiliser promotes sustainable gardening practices — giving you healthier plants with less dependence on synthetic fertilisers.

Why is seaweed extract such a powerful fertiliser ingredient?

Seaweed, particularly seaweed extract from Ascophyllum nodosum, is packed with natural growth hormones like auxins, cytokinins, and gibberellins. These compounds stimulate key growth processes, from vigorous root development to enhanced flowering and fruiting. Seaweed also supplies valuable trace elements, amino acids, and natural micronutrients that support plant metabolism, improve nutrient uptake, and increase stress resistance. When combined with beneficial microbes, the result is a potent seaweed fertiliser that strengthens both plant and soil health. Unlike synthetic products, seaweed-based solutions help plants adapt to abiotic and biotic stresses — such as heat, frost, and disease — while improving soil conditions, enhancing water retention, and supporting beneficial soil fungi like mycorrhiza.

How does this liquid seaweed fertiliser compare to similar products?

Many gardeners are familiar with popular liquid seaweed fertilisers found at Bunnings and other retailers. While these offer excellent seaweed extract benefits, this product stands out because it combines concentrated kelp with billions of live microbes, offering up to 50% better plant growth in independent tests. The added microbial life improves the availability of primary nutrients like nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus by transforming organic matter and enhancing nutrient cycling in the soil. This dual-action approach doesn’t just feed the plants — it regenerates the soil ecosystem, boosting long-term soil fertility and supporting sustainable agriculture and gardening practices.

What plants and growth stages benefit most from seaweed fertiliser?

This versatile liquid seaweed fertiliser can be diluted and applied at several key stages, including planting, vegetative growth, and pre-flowering. It’s ideal for a wide range of plants: vegetables (including maize, soybean, and sorghum), fruit trees and berry bushes, lawns, bulbs, and flowering ornamentals like roses, azaleas, and camellias, Australian natives and microgreens, and indoor plants and potted flowers. By enhancing foliage health, stimulating root growth, and improving drought resilience, this seaweed-enriched biofertiliser delivers exceptional results across the entire garden. It’s suitable for home gardeners, market gardeners, landscapers, nurseries, and farmers alike — supporting both small-scale gardens and large-scale cropping systems.

How do I apply the All-Purpose Seaweed Biofertiliser?

Simply dilute the concentrated seaweed fertiliser in water, following the label instructions, and apply it directly to the soil or as a foliar spray. Whether you use a watering can or a spray bottle, this product quickly introduces beneficial microbes and soluble Seaweed nutrients to the plant roots and plant surfaces. Regular applications every 2–4 weeks help maintain optimal microbial populations, stimulate nutrient availability, and support continuous plant growth. Over time, this improves soil structure, boosts crop yield, and reduces the need for synthetic fertilisers and pesticides. Is this seaweed fertiliser safe for pets, wildlife, and the environment? Yes! This All-Purpose Seaweed microbially rich fertiliser is made in Canberra from fermented food and coffee waste, combined with sustainably harvested, 100% soluble seaweed powder. It contains no synthetic chemicals, making it safe for pets, beneficial insects, and local wildlife when used as directed. By choosing this eco-friendly product, you’re supporting waste management practices that divert organic materials from landfill, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and return valuable nutrients to the soil. It’s a smart, sustainable choice for anyone who values soil health, biodiversity, and regenerative growing practices.
