Live Worms Starter Pack
Starting a new worm farm or looking to boost your existing garden beds? This Live Worms Starter Pack will get you recycling food scraps into nutrient-rich fertiliser in no time.
Each Starter Pack is generously filled with adult worms, baby worms and worm eggs, plus extra worm castings and compost to kick-start your worm farm. Even the cardboard packaging can be torn up and fed to these little heroes.
Includes a healthy combination of three robust species (depending on the season):
- Red worms
- Blue worms
- Tiger worms
Locally grown by worm farmer Brick Colley in Moruya, New South Wales, these composting worms have been fed and bred on commercial food waste diverted from landfill, in partnership with Food2Soil.
These compost champions will eat anything that once lived, enriching your soil with the microorganisms they excrete. With a fast 12-week breeding cycle from egg to adult, your worm farm will double its population in no time.
Note: when adding worms directly to your garden, we recommend feeding your soil with our All-Purpose Biofertiliser at least quarterly to ensure your worms continue to thrive in healthy, microbe-rich soil.
